Tips and Tricks Tuesday

Last week during one of my classes, I had a clear mount stamp that would NOT stay on the block, no matter what we tried.  Fortunately, it was a small enough stamp that we could manage it without the block.  It was, however, quite embarrassing when it happened repeatedly!

Yesterday I was stamping with a friend, and she gave me a quick and easy tip that worked perfectly!  She told me to run a small strip of SNAIL on to the block.  It was hard to get a photo, but it looks like little spots about 1/3 of the way up the block.

Then, press the stamp in place.

In the second photo,  it is a little easier to see the small strip of SNAIL adhesive on the block.

It worked like a dream!  When I was done, I rubbed off the remaining adhesive with my finger.

Thank you, Anna!  You made my day!  No more clear mount stamps falling off of blocks for me!  Thanks for stopping by today.

Blessings,
Barbara
